Greenbrier trio sign together to go separate ways

While it was a happy day, Greenbrier girls basketball players Jennifer McMahan, Mallory Myers and Morgan Taylor ended an era on Friday. The trio, who have been friends and playing basketball together since sixth grade, signed to play basketball collegiately at three separate schools next year. McMahan will head to Division II University of North Alabama (Florence, Ala.), Myers will stay local at Georgia Regents University while Taylor will head to the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md.     Click here to read more...

Haney signs to play with Wolves

Maggie Haney couldn’t wipe the smile off her face. The Grovetown High School senior may have been anxious all day Thursday and nervous leading up to it, but her pen never wavered when she signed to play basketball for Newberry College (Newberry, S.C.). “It’s just the gratification that I’ve been playing since I was six,” Haney said. “It’s always been a dream to play basketball in college. Andrews signs with Spring Hill College - Mobile, AL

Warren County's Andrews receives full-ride scholarship. A standout on the basketball court as well as in the classroom, Warren County High School senior Raneisha Andrews inked her signature on paperwork Friday afternoon that secured her a full-ride basketball scholarship coupled with an academic scholarship to Spring Hill College in Mobile, Ala.
